Many people assume that sticker is just there because it comes from Microsoft as a part of the Windows 7 license, or that it indicates that the system is loaded with the Windows 7 operating system. The truth is that special badge indicates that the system “flying the flag" has passed specialized testing outlined by the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs, also known as WHQL.
