Every few years you have had the opportunity to bid on your local school/community college, YMCA or other charity organization’s PC refresh, this year however is different. When presented with their RFQ they are no longer looking for desktops to be refreshed every 3-4 years. They now need to stretch their IT budget for as much as 5 years, knowing the potential hardware pitfalls and upcoming OS changes you can’t just quote today’s low cost PC and expect it to be viable 4 years down the road.
